Chris Regan
Maths and Physics

Maths and Physics Teacher. BSc in Maths and Computer Science, MSc in Maths

Over 8 years of experience teaching KS3, GCSE and A-level

Associate Pearson examiner

Undergraduate maths lecturer for the Open University

Chris finds teaching exceptionally rewarding and particularly enjoys watching his enthusiasm for the subject reflected in his students. He has also been exam marking for five years, something that allows him to fully prepare students for the exact expectations exam boards have. Chris’ MSc in Mathematics allows for expertly refined teaching at all levels, particularly at the top end of A-level and undergraduate.

Chris thinks that teaching maths and helping students understand it is vital for understanding the world. It allows us to understand and predict patterns in nature; it allows scientists to develop some of the most incredible things; computers wouldn’t exist without maths. Without an understanding of maths, the modern world as we know it wouldn’t exist. Outside of teaching, Chris enjoys watching F1, running and spending time with his wife and young daughter.
